The national soccer team, led by head coach Hong Myung-bo, has won three consecutive World Cup qualifiers by defeating Iraq.

The national team beat Iraq 3-2 in Group B of the 3rd World Cup qualifying round at Mir Stadium in Yongin by combining consecutive goals from Oh Se-hoon, Oh Hyun-kyu and Lee Jae-sung.

Stoke City Bae Jun-ho, the 21-year-old youngest who started on the left wing, where captain Son Heung-min was out due to injury, recorded two consecutive assists.

Korea, which was the first to reach the "10 points" mark with 3 wins and 1 draw in the preliminary round, has begun to solidify its lead in the group.

Unlike last month's Palestinian showdown, which was Hong Myung-bo's debut, there was no booing in the Iraq match, and heated shouts and waves of support appeared.
