■ Prosecutors dismissed Kim Gun-hee after four and a half years of raising suspicions, believing she was not accused of conspiring or assisting Deutsche Motors' stock price manipulation. The prosecution believes that Mrs. Kim invested the money, but did not know about the stock price manipulation.

■ Han Dong-hoon, representative of the People's Power, who won two places, including Geumjeong in Busan, in the October 16 by-elections, has called for the suspension of Kim Gun-hee's activities and personnel reform of the presidential office. When Kim was cleared of stock price manipulation, the Democratic Party of Korea re-issued the bill on Kim's special prosecution, which contained 13 suspicions, including allegations related to Myung Tae-kyun.
