The rehabilitation process of "Fly Kangwon," a low-cost airline that uses Yangyang International Airport as a mortgage, has ended early.

The Seoul Rehabilitation Court said today (18th) that the debtor has begun repayment under the rehabilitation plan and that it will close early, saying there are no other circumstances that could interfere with the implementation of the plan.

Fly Gangwon was suspended in May last year due to deteriorating management due to the spread of COVID-19, and shortly thereafter began the rehabilitation process.

In July, home appliance company Winix was confirmed as the final prospect of acquisition, and the rehabilitation plan was approved.

The court explained that it expects the acquirer to carry out active business activities, including continuous investment, upon the end of the rehabilitation process.
