Kim Hyung-seok, the director of the Independence Hall of Korea, who refused to answer the question of whether Korea was liberated in 1945, gave an answer of "recognition" in two months.

Director Kim attended a parliamentary audit of the National Policy Committee of the National Assembly and answered, "I acknowledge" to the question of Rep. Shin Chang-sik of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, whether the Republic of Korea recognized its liberation in 1945.

Director Kim previously answered the same question at the general meeting of the National Policy Committee on August 26, saying, "If you tell me as a director, I will not mention it," and that it was neither "yes" nor "no."
