At that time, famous overseas chefs and influencers came to Seoul and enjoyed Seoul gastronomy, but it was a pity that there was no event with citizens. So, in order to celebrate the hosting of the "Asia 50 Best Restaurant" ahead of Seoul Food Week and to promote the global gastronomic city of Seoul, we invited a chef selected as the Asia 50 Best Restaurant on Sunday, November 3rd at Banpo Sebit Island to hold a special event. I don't think there are many people who don't know 'Asia's 50 Best Restaurants'. It's the Asian version of World 50 Best Restaurant, and it's a prestigious restaurant guide with a Michelin guide. Every year, gourmet experts and famous chefs from all over the world gather in one place to select and celebrate the top 50 restaurants in Asia. This year, four Korean restaurants were selected in the top 50, proving the world's interest in K-food.

◆Park Gui-bin: You held an event to select the 'Asia's 50 Best Restaurants' last March, right? I heard that very hot chefs are coming to this event.

◇ Cho Soo-jin: Yes, this event is with Chef Ahn Sung-jae, who received the Special Award 'Chef's Choice Award', which is selected by a vote of a fellow chef at the Asia 50 Best Awards. And I got to be with chef Ahn Sung-jae and chefs from the parameters. Three chefs, including chef Ahn Sung-jae, appeared on the black-and-white chef, so we are seeing a great promotional effect. Chef Ahn Sung-jae doesn't cook on his own. He will be the coach of the team, and triple star chef Kang Seung-won, One Two Three Chef Baek Ji-jun, Chef Oh Jong-il, and Chef Jung Young-hoon will participate to provide citizens with a special gastronomic experience.

◇ Cho Soo-jin: We will receive pre-application through the Catch Table app. After a while, 150 participants will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis from 2 p.m. Those who made a successful reservation will see the Han River view from Sebit Island and have four kinds of waves.You can taste the menu of the innings. It's not a full course menu, so I just emphasize that you can taste it. The event will be held at 4, 5:30, and 7 o'clock in total. Please understand that you all have to leave an hour after entering to prepare for the next round and that it is a standing table without a seat. And since it is so hot, you can purchase only two tickets per person to prevent hoarding or proxy purchases, and to prevent no-show, you receive 40,000 won in advance when making a reservation. You can enter after checking the person who made the reservation on the day of the event, so please remember that you cannot enter without an ID.

◇Jo Soo-jin: Yes, amid the recent hot interest of the world in K-food, the Seoul Metropolitan Government has announced the "2024 Seoul Food Week," a guide to restaurants and bars recommended by gourmet experts, ahead of the "2024 Seoul Food Week," which will begin on November 8. The "100 Seoul Food and Food Classics" has been selected by food content experts, gourmet travelers, food journalists, etc. since 2020 in order to promote the unique gastronomic culture of Seoul to the world.
