The bus, which collided with the ground as it bent from the front on the slope, was completely smashed by the impact.
At around 5:20 a.m. today, a commuter bus running on the Daejeon-Tongyeong Expressway collided with an 18-ton truck around the Geumsan Interchange.
A total of 24 people were injured.
Twenty-three people on the commuter bus, including a driver in his 50s, were taken to hospital with minor injuries, and the driver of the truck was also injured.
Fortunately, it is understood that there have been no serious injuries whose lives are in danger.
At that time, the commuter bus crossed the center line and hit an 18-ton truck coming from the other side on the way out of the highway and hit the guardrail.
The police who were dispatched to the scene confirmed that the commuter bus driver in his 50s was not drunk.
It has been confirmed that the driver told police that the car slipped due to rain.
Police plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident against commuter bus drivers while checking nearby CCTV and vehicle black box videos.
