In addition, the Democratic Party of Korea launched the Future Governance Committee, an in-party organization that will promote national future strategy design and competitiveness enhancement policies.

Representative Lee Jae-myung, who directly chaired the committee, said at the launch ceremony held at the National Assembly, "We will set up a broken national vision right away to prepare for a better tomorrow than today."

Dr. Kim Rok-ho, a former director of standards at the World Health Organization and WHO's Science Department, participated in the committee to discuss major future tasks such as futurology, climate change, and artificial intelligence.
