"Samsung executives are about to become younger...Retired executives average 56 years old"

Analysts say that the so-called "747 talent" born between 1974 and 1977 will flow into Samsung Electronics' executive organization, making the age group younger.

According to an analysis of Samsung Electronics' executive status from 2023 to 2024, the Korea CXO Research Institute said in its executive personnel appointment this year that many people born in 1968 to 1971 will leave the company.

In particular, 670 out of 1,166 Samsung Electronics executives were born in 1970 to 1975, accounting for more than half of them as of the third quarter.

On the other hand, the average age of 122 retired executives in the past year was 56, with 15 born in 1968, and 13 born in 1967 and 1969, respectively.

Considering that new executives are likely to be younger next year than this year, the CXO Research Institute predicts that the average age will be around 48 years old and include about 20 MZ generations.
