KDI announces 'reform plan to boost Korea's economic productivity' next week

The Korea Development Institute's KDI, a national research institute, announced on the 11th that it will release a report on "reform measures to improve the productivity of the Korean economy."

On the same day, the "2024 KDI Conference" with the same theme will be held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Seoul based on the report.

The 2024 KDI Conference is a place to discuss specific reform challenges to maintain the dynamics of the Korean economy and seek policy directions that can increase productivity.

Following the keynote presentation of "For the Future of the Korean Economy" by Nam Chang-woo, head of the KDI Research Department, it consists of three sessions under the themes of "Rational Allocation of Production Resources," "Improvement of Creative Innovation," and "Expandment of Solid Social Capital."

Following the opening speech of KDI President Cho Dong-chul, Prime Minister Han Deok-soo will participate as a congratulatory speech.

The conference will be broadcast live on the KDI YouTube channel.
