Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has warned that there will be no more tolerance for the Lebanese government if a ceasefire with the Lebanese militant Hezbollah fails.

During a visit to Israel's northern border today (3rd), Minister Katz urged the Lebanese government to empower the government forces to withdraw Hezbollah from the Ritani River and move all equipment.

At the same time, Israel said it would exert maximum influence on implementing the ceasefire agreement and would no longer tolerate the Lebanese government in the event of failure.

He then added that if the Lebanese government and Hezbollah had been differentiated so far, they would not do so in the event of a ceasefire failure.

Israel and Hezbollah entered a 60-day temporary cease-fire from the 27th of last month under U.S.-mediated mediation, but they have been exchanging attacks with each other, claiming violations of the ceasefire agreement.
