Six hours after Yoon Suk Yeol's president declared an emergency martial law, a proposal to lift martial law was approved at a Cabinet meeting.

The Prime Minister's Office said at a Cabinet meeting presided over by Prime Minister Han Deok-soo at 4:30 a.m. today (4th), that the martial law lifting plan demanded by the National Assembly was approved.

President Yoon Suk Yeol declared emergency martial law in a public statement at 10:23 p.m. yesterday (3rd), and as of 11 p.m. last night, the Republic of Korea entered the emergency martial law system with the declaration of the martial law command.

However, around 1 a.m. this morning, a request for the lifting of the emergency martial law was submitted to the plenary session of the National Assembly and all 190 members of the National Assembly were approved with approval.
