Rain or snow is expected in some parts of the Midwest between today (5th) and tomorrow morning, raising concerns about a road slide.
The Korea Meteorological Administration said it will gradually expand to Yeongseo, Gangwon Province, Honam, and Jeju this morning as rain or snow began to fall from southern Gyeonggi Province and Chungcheong Province due to the influence of precipitation from the West Sea.
The expected amount of snow will be 1 to 3 cm in the mountains of Yeongseo and Jeju in Gangwon Province, 1 cm in Chungbuk and Jeonbuk, and less than 1 cm in northeastern Gyeonggi Province.
The amount of rain
is expected to be around 5mm across southern Gyeonggi and other countries.
The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said that there will be not much rain or snow in the future, but some areas are expected to fall between late this afternoon and tomorrow morning when temperatures are low, which could lead to road thin ice or ice sheets.
