The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announced on the 12th that an IAEA vehicle heading to the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine was attacked by a drone on the afternoon of the 10th local time.

Also, this car resides at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. It added that it was on its way to escort a team of experts who had been waiting to take over a successor.

said, "I think there is a clear intention to hurt or threaten us, no matter who has done this," adding, "We condemn this incident in the strongest terms."

"We have absolutely no motivation and we can't attack the IAEA's convoy," Russian Ambassador to Vienna Mikhail Ulianov said in connection with the incident.
