Ministry of Education "Unchangeable" to claims of 25th-grade medical school cuts

The Ministry of Education dismissed the National Medical School Professors' Emergency Response Committee's claim to select next year's job cuts from the review of the origin of the increase in medical schools, saying it is impossible to change.

An official from the Ministry of Education reaffirmed that the number of medical schools in 2025 is already undergoing entrance examinations, so it is impossible to change, and explained that it plans to establish a new bureau that has jurisdiction over medical school work from next year to manage it comprehensively.

Earlier today (16th), the emergency committee of medical professors released a statement saying that "Yoon Seok-yeol-pyo's increase in medical school" is invalid and that the number of new students should be reduced compared to before in consideration of the large number of students on leave this year.
