A nine-ton fishing boat capsized and sank off the coast of Ando, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do.
Yeosu Maritime Police received a report at around 11:50 p.m. yesterday (16th) that a nine-ton fishing boat carrying five crew members was inundated in waters about 7.4 kilometers east of Ando, Nam-myeon, Yeosu-si.
All five crew members on the fishing boat moved to other fishing boats, and there were no health problems.
The Coast Guard believes that the accident fishing boat was a short circuit in the process of drainage work due to seawater rising in the engine room while fishing, and the flooding was accelerated.
The rescue team dispatched to the scene has installed lifting bags and night position buoys on the flooded fishing boat to complete the second accident prevention measures, and plans to tow the fishing boat as soon as the day dawns.
