The candlelight action', a civic group that has been holding a rally for the resignation of President Yoon Suk Yeol, will begin a full-fledged rally shortly after 7 p.m.

Bosingak here is only 1km away from the Constitutional Court.

As the impeachment bill passed the National Assembly, citizens gathered around the Constitutional Court, which will make the final decision on whether to dismiss it or not.

From 8 p.m., a little later, we will march toward Anguk Station, where the Constitutional Court is located.

Candlelight Action will rally here every evening throughout this week and speak out to the Constitutional Court for its dismissal.

The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) and civil society's main pillar, "Yoon Suk Yeol Immediate Resignation and Emergency Action for Major Social Reform," which drew large crowds in Yeouido, said they will hold a large-scale rally on Saturday after taking a short break during the week after yesterday's rally.

Considering the past, the impeachment trial of former President Roh Moo Hyun was concluded in about two months, and the impeachment trial of former President Park Geun Hye was concluded in about three months.

As it is expected that it will take months for the impeachment trial to be sentenced again this time, the voices of citizens calling for the dismissal are also expected to continue for the time being.
