The People's Power and the government announced the results of the "High Party Council for National Stability" aimed at early execution of next year's budget and expanding support for small business owners to restore the people's livelihood economy.
In a briefing after the government-government consultation at the Prime Minister's Office, the ruling party and the government said they will quickly finalize next year's budget allocation plan so that the budget will be executed immediately from January 1st, and provide additional support tailored to the vulnerable.
In particular, the government announced a plan to operate a "policy response team for small business owners' livelihood damage" and expand the size of small business policy loans next year to a total of 3.77 trillion won, an increase of 60 billion won from this year.
In preparation for the launch of the new U.S. administration, the government will establish a response system that encompasses political affairs and the economy, establish a firm response posture to North Korean threats and provocations based on cooperation between South Korea, the U.S., and South Korea, the U.S. and Japan, and prepare a roadmap to respond to North Korea's nuclear weapons.
The ruling party and the government agreed that the military should focus on its original mission without wavering, adding that they will strengthen the on-site inspection and disaster safety management system to prepare for crowds and emergency situations at the end of the year.
