An Asiana Airlines flight that was going to Istanbul from Incheon International Airport leaked oil and urgently replaced it with another aircraft.
At 9:35 a.m. today at Incheon International Airport, oil leaked from the wing fuel tank of the Istanbul-bound aircraft that was preparing to take off with 283 passengers on board.
At the time of the accident, the aircraft left the boarding gate and entered the runway for takeoff, but returned to the gate after oil leakage was found.
Passengers were transferred to another aircraft of the same model, which only left at 1:20 p.m., three hours and 45 minutes behind the original scheduled departure time.
