There were a series of rallies in downtown Seoul over the weekend to demand the dismissal of President Yoon Suk Yeol.

There was a performance to call for the arrest of President Yoon by making a warrant himself, and the vicinity of Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul was also filled with cheering sticks that became symbols of emergency martial law.

The front of the presidential residence in Yongsan is a sign of "immediate arrest."

There was also a banner of "Citizen Arrest Warrant" in the name of the people targeting President Yoon Suk Yeol, who is not responding properly to the subpoena of the Joint Investigation Headquarters and the impeachment trial process of the Constitutional Court.

[Yoon Da-young / Military Human Rights Center Activist: The suspect repeatedly refuses to comply with the investigative agency's legitimate request for attendance and issues a 'citizen arrest warrant' in the name of the Korean people.]

The road near Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul was also stained with crowds holding the "Cheering Stick," which became a symbol of President Yoon's resignation rally.

In addition to the dismissal of President Yoon, the participants urged a quick independent counsel on civil war, saying that those who sympathized with martial law or aided and abetted martial law should be punished firmly.

[Lee Dong-hoon / Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province: I came out of the hope that the wrong history would not repeat itself. / I think a thorough investigation is needed into the immediate arrest and arrest of Yoon Suk Yeol and all related forces.]

[Im Beom-jun / Hyehwa-dong, Seoul: The impeachment bill has been passed, but the Constitutional Court has not decided yet. People's anxiety seems to be aggravated, so I have to get off as soon as possible....]

On the other hand, a rally was held in Gwanghwamun area to protest the impeachment of the president.

Participants argued that emergency martial law was not a civil war, but that the ongoing martial law investigation was a civil war.
