As the government decided to supply 3,360 additional households to Hanam Gyosan, the third new city, it has significantly increased the proportion of small and medium-sized areas under 60 square meters instead of reducing the proportion of medium and large-sized equilibrium.
In this regard, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport recently announced the approval of the "Hanamgyo Mountain Public Housing District Plan Change Plan."
The change includes increasing the proportion of housing land out of a total of 6.31 million square meters in the Hanam Gyosan district from 23.3% to 25.3%.
As a result, the number of houses in Hanam Gyosan has increased from 33,037 to 36,697 households. We also adjusted the proportion of
houses by area, and the proportion of apartment houses and complex facilities under 60㎡ increased significantly from 51.9% to 59.3%, but the proportion of apartments over 60㎡ to 85㎡ was adjusted from 35% to 29.5%, and the proportion over 85㎡ also decreased from 13.1% to 11.2%.
The changes to the development plan are aimed at responding to concerns about a shortage of housing supplies, and the government earlier said it would adjust the ratio of self-sufficient land and parks in the third new city and increase the floor area ratio to expand supply.
The third new city will start with Changneung in Goyang in January next year.
