'Tractor protest' Jeon Nong continues to rally for 2 days and 1 night...Gwacheon-daero control

Farmers who drove tractors from all over the country to Seoul, calling for the arrest of Yoon Suk Yeol's president, have been protesting for a second day.

Members of the National Farmers' Association were blocked by police near Namtaeryeong Pass in Bangbae-dong, Seocho-gu, while trying to enter Seoul at around 12 p.m. yesterday.

Police set up a barrier and blocked protesters from entering the city, controlling eight lanes in both directions of Gwacheon-daero.

Farmers have continued to protest for two days and one night today with tractors and lorries parked at the site, and citizens wishing to impeach President Yoon have joined to increase the number of participants in the rally to about 1,000.

Police said they do not know when Gwacheon-daero control will be lifted at the moment, and urged vehicles passing through the area to use a detour.

Jeon Nong was planning to leave from various parts of the country from the 16th and move to Hannam-dong residence and Gwanghwamun candlelight rally site, urging the government to take measures against the arrest and arrest of President Yoon and pending agricultural issues.
