'Support for military service' No. 1 extends youth discount with Gifu companion card

Starting next year, young people who have fulfilled their defense obligations will be able to receive up to a three-year extension of the youth discount on Climate Accompany Card, an unlimited public transportation ticket in Seoul.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government said that under the revised Seoul Youth Basic Ordinance, which was revised to reduce opportunity costs and provide more benefits for young people who were responsible for the security of the Republic of Korea, young people who have completed their military service will be able to receive a discount for the youth of the Climate Accompanied Card for the duration of their service.Starting with the extension of the youth discount for the Gifu companion card,
will extend the period of participation in the city's representative youth policies such as Seoul Youth Preliminary Internship and Future Youth Jobs as long as the mandatory military service period.

Youths in compulsory military service who want to extend the youth discount with the Gifu card can apply by e-mail from the 23rd, and from March next year, the discount can be extended immediately through the T-money app and website without any separate documents through the "service period verification system."
