The government will strengthen R&D support for high-tech strategic industries by investing about 1.2 trillion won in R&D budgets in semiconductors, secondary batteries, and next-generation robots next year.

The Ministry of Industry announced that it will announce the "2025 Integrated Implementation Plan for Industrial Technology Innovation Projects" and disclose the budget execution schedule.

The Ministry of Industry has set next year's R&D budget at about 5.7 trillion won, the largest ever.

The projects to be announced this time are 218 projects, a total of 5.6 trillion won, excluding those supported by loans.

We plan to select 85% of next year's new tasks in the first half of the year, and we plan to announce the tasks from January next year and sign an agreement with the research institute from April.

We plan to continue investing in more than 4,500 tasks through interim inspections and changes to the agreement.
