Three short-term foreigners who tried to distribute drugs in the country under the direction of an international drug organization have been put on trial.

Drugs were also hidden in snow-covered mountains to avoid tracking down by investigative agencies.

This is 36-year-old A from Taiwan, a drug delivery service.

He is surrounded by four prosecution investigators who have been waiting for him while carrying about 600g of methamphetamine hidden on the trail.

It was a Chinese belonging to an international drug organization who gave the order to Mr. A, but he was not identified.

The prosecution recently arrested two more foreigners who stayed for a short period of time like Mr. A and handed them over to trial.

A 33-year-old Malaysian man received about 1 kg of methamphetamine disguised as candy by international mail at his accommodation in Gangnam, Seoul,

A 53-year-old Japanese man was arrested in front of an elementary school in Incheon while trying to trade 1kg of methamphetamine.

It turns out that they all received tickets and stay costs from other overseas organizations and made drug deliveries.

Foreigners who stay for a short period of time have exploited the difficulty of tracking.

Prosecutors say they plan to strengthen crackdowns on foreigners' drug smuggling, saying an increasing number of international organizations are trying to distribute drugs directly to South Korea, where the black market has risen recently.
