Samsung, which entered the home appliance subscription market earlier this month, said three out of 10 customers who bought home appliances used the "Artificial Intelligence AI Subscription Club."
A home appliance subscription is a service in which consumers pay a monthly subscription and use home appliances for a certain period of time.
In terms of subscription club sales, refrigerators accounted for 17%, washing machines 16%, and kimchi refrigerators 15%, indicating that refrigerator-related subscriptions are high in conjunction with the kimchi-making season.
An official from Samsung Electronics said, "We will improve the pricing plan, service, and partnership benefits of subscription clubs to improve consumer convenience and lead the AI home appliance subscription market."
