Heavy snow accompanied by strong winds in Chungnam and Honam...Up to 20cm by tomorrow

By tomorrow (28th), Chungnam and Honam are expected to receive a lot of snow with strong winds.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said that as much as 20cm of snow will fall in Chungcheong and Honam by tomorrow morning due to the influx of cloud bands developed in the West Sea.

In particular, strong snowstorms of more than 3cm per hour with strong winds are expected to hit overnight.

In addition, extreme cold is expected to be below minus 10 to 15 degrees Celsius in the morning, mainly in Gangwon-do, northeastern Gyeonggi-do, northern Chungbuk, and northeastern Gyeongbuk, where a cold wave warning has been issued.

In Seoul, where there is no cold wave warning, the temperature will be cold at minus 7 degrees Celsius tomorrow morning, but on Sunday, a rather warm westerly wind is expected to be 1 to 3 degrees higher than usual.
