The government has launched an investigation after avian influenza and AI antigens were found at a spawning farm in Jincheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs said it is scrutinizing whether it is highly pathogenic or not, and the results come in a day to three days.
The Central Disaster Management Headquarters has sent an initial response team to the farm to restrict access and conduct an epidemiological investigation.
It has also decided to bury more than 16,000 chickens raised on the farm.
In addition, to prevent the spread of AI, we ordered spawning farms and livestock facilities in Chungbuk to stop moving until midnight today (28th).
