Kwon Sung-dong, the floor leader of the People's Power Party, argued that the resolution of the impeachment bill by acting President Han Deok-soo was not enough to meet the quorum of two-thirds of the vote, so the vote was not established and was invalid.Floor leader

met with reporters and said he applied for a power dispute trial and a provisional injunction to suspend the validity of the National Assembly's decision to the Constitutional Court, urging the Constitutional Court to initiate and conclude a quick hearing.

He then asked Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Choi Sang-mok, who took over as acting president, to hold off on the appointment of a constitutional judge until a decision is made by the Constitutional Court.

He stressed that the key reason for the impeachment mentioned by the Democratic Party was that the appointment of a constitutional judge was put on hold, which was a duty that Han duly performed in accordance with the law as an acting president.

When Han expressed his respect for the National Assembly's decision, Park Soo-min, a spokesman for the floor, said he seemed to accept it in consideration of the stability of the state affairs, but explained that the decision was unfortunate, but he respects his concerns as a prime minister.

The People's Power previously held a condemnation conference at the Rotender Hall of the National Assembly shortly after the passing of the acting impeachment bill and accused the Democratic Party of being a state-run terrorist force that induces de facto anarchy.
