The search continues today, right?

[Reporter]
Yes, the place behind me is the accident site.

It's hard to see because it's dark, but the tail of the gas is off, and debris is scattered everywhere.

The search operation yesterday (30th) seems to have continued until late at night.

An institutional joint investigation was conducted.

The Jeonnam National Police Agency and the Air Railroad Accident Investigation Committee of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport searched for oil products and other items around the scene of the plane disaster.

We secured the victim's gene and requested an emergency evaluation.

At the request of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, we have also started to secure a storage device that will be a clue to the cause of the plane disaster.

It has not been determined what information is contained in the storage device, but only the storage box has been reportedly found.

The search will resume from 8 a.m. today (31st).

By the way, the funeral process for the victim has begun?

[Reporter]
Yes, the funeral procedures for the victims of the Jeju Air plane disaster have begun.

South Jeolla Province said yesterday that the bodies of two victims of the Jeju Air plane disaster were transported to a funeral home in Gwangju Metropolitan City, while the other was transported to Seoul.

One of the two victims who were transferred to Gwangju will go through Samiljang from tomorrow (1st) and be pronounced on January 2 next year, so the day after tomorrow (2nd).

About 160 of the 179 Jeju Air victims were identified by fingerprint matching, and the rest of the bodies remain under genetic verification.

A mobile freezer was reportedly installed at the scene of the accident to temporarily place the recovered body.

Two Thai people are among the victims, and the bereaved families entered Korea last night, and are expected to visit Muan Airport today.

In the midst of this, the joint memorial altar opened yesterday, leading to a series of visits to commemorate.

The joint memorial altar was set up at the indoor gymnasium of Muan Sports Park, and condolences were expressed from all walks of life.

Jeollanam-do Province plans to set up an additional joint memorial altar on the first floor of Muan Airport as it wants the bereaved families to operate an memorial altar close to the accident site.
