North Korea encourages successful hosting of 80th anniversary of founding of the Workers' Party

At the end of last year, North Korea thoroughly carried out the decision of the plenary session and encouraged the successful 80th anniversary of the founding of the party and the 9th party congress.

The Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea, said in its editorial that the successful completion of the five-year plan should protect the 80th anniversary of the founding of the party and the party congress, and make huge changes and vigorous strides in all aspects of the nation's construction.

He also stressed that the decision of the 11th plenary session in December last year must be thoroughly implemented, and that the implementation of the new development and upward phase can be firmly guaranteed only when the goals set out by the 8th Congress of the Party are successfully united this year, the last year of the five-year plan.

He added that the 9th Congress of the Party can be proudly welcomed as a competition of victors and a competition of glory only when it achieves miraculous results in the holy patriotic struggle for the full-scale revival and development of the country.

At the same time, he said that no matter how the external environment changes or any challenges and difficulties are prevented, we will never be able to stop or reverse the rapid upward development of our country.
