The trial of Gangwon Superintendent Shin Kyung-ho, who was indicted on charges of illegal campaigning and bribery, has passed again.

A year and a half have passed since the trial began, but there are still no first trial dates, leading to calls for a quick trial.

The prosecution's forced investigation into Gangwon Superintendent Shin Kyung-ho began in April last year.

The prosecution believes that Superintendent Shin formed a private organization to campaign illegally and received money and valuables from teachers and builders.

Due to this situation, he failed to meet the six-month legal deadline for the first trial of the election trial, and the trial was over again.

A civic group in Gangwon Province filed a petition with 1,630 signatures calling for a speedy trial, saying the educational administration is faltering due to the delay in the trial.
