The high-ranking government official's criminal investigation office is also struggling with the number of other cases in preparation for the possibility that the execution of arrest warrants will fail within the expiration date,

In the end, tomorrow (6th) when the arrest warrant expires is expected to be a watershed moment.

After the execution of the arrest warrant has been stopped, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit is continuing its efforts to determine countermeasures.

The official position is that it leaves all possibilities open, not just re-execution,

If the execution is not successful by tomorrow (6th) when the expiration date ends, there is a possibility that a new arrest warrant will be issued.

It is a method of explaining the reason to the Seoul Western District Court, which requested a warrant earlier, and actually extending the deadline by re-issuing the warrant.

However, as President Yoon does not recognize the investigation rights of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit and even points out the jurisdiction of the court, the current confrontation is likely to continue.

As a result, some observers say that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit could immediately seek a preliminary arrest warrant for President Yoon.

However, it is inevitable to seek an arrest warrant without a face-to-face investigation against the incumbent president, and the possibility of being dismissed cannot be completely ruled out.

On top of that, President Yoon said he would comply with the arrest warrant review if it was held, but added conditions, saying, "Legal requirements should be met."

In the end, while it is unclear whether the president will comply with the warrant review, there are concerns that even if the warrant is issued, confusion will repeat itself as the execution of the arrest warrant if the president does not comply with the recruitment process.

Attention is focusing on what decision the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, which continues to struggle with the number of cases, will make ahead of the expiration of the arrest warrant.
