A joint government briefing held at Muan Airport every morning and afternoon.

The bereaved families who were curious about the situation of the disaster always gathered like clouds, but now the number of people listening has decreased.

This is because most of the 1,879 victims took over the bodies of their families and left for the funeral.

[Park Sang-woo / Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport: (As of the morning of the 5th) 146 victims out of 179 minutes were delivered to the bereaved families. The delivery of the remaining people has been going on since 7am (morning).

The delivery of the victim's body was completed faster than expected, and it is the last briefing.

The bereaved family thanked the employees of related agencies who have guarded the airport day and night, and the employees bowed their heads side by side.

At the scene, tearful comfort and encouragement came and went for a while.

[Park Han-shin / Representative of the bereaved families of the Jeju Air plane disaster: On behalf of the bereaved families, I would like to thank them. And thank you.]

Authorities are operating a preparatory furnace for cremation facilities in Jeollanam-do and Gwangju to help the victims' early death.

In addition, around the middle of this month, the central government plans to set up a post-mortem support group to support the bereaved families.

In the meantime, only about 100 temporary tents in the airport, where the bereaved families have stayed, have been left to prevent the spread of respiratory diseases.

The bereaved families plan to hold a general meeting next week when the funeral is completed to discuss future directions.
