Palestinian militant Hamas officials have said they have approved a list of hostages to be released in the event of a cease-fire deal, which Israel's prime minister's office has denied.
Hamas has approved Israel's list of 34 hostages for the first round of release, Reuters reported, citing Hamas officials.
A Hamas official said the deal would depend on whether Israeli forces would withdraw from Gaza and a permanent ceasefire was agreed, Reuters said.
