The government has decided to establish a support group for victims of the December 29 plane accident to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport this month in connection with the handling of Jeju Air plane accidents.
Acting President Choi Sang-mok held the 12th meeting of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters this morning (7th) and said the government plans to establish a support group for victims of the December 29 plane crash that succeeded the integrated support center at Muan Airport to ensure that they do not neglect to support victims such as bereaved families and injured people.
Acting President Choi said, "Most of the on-site treatment will be completed, and the investigation and analysis will be carried out in earnest to determine the cause of the accident," adding, "The government will investigate the cause of the accident objectively and transparently based on laws and international standards based on independence and neutrality."
