From 10 a.m., the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee is holding a hearing to investigate the impeachment case of Park Sang-yong, deputy prosecutor at Suwon District Prosecutors' Office, who investigated the alleged remittance to the North.
This is the second "prosecutor impeachment" hearing following the impeachment hearing of Kim Young-chul, deputy prosecutor of the Seoul Northern District Prosecutors' Office in August.
Prosecutor Park is suspected of cajoling false statements against Lee Hwa-young, former governor of peace in Gyeonggi Province, while investigating the illegal remittance to North Korea.
Most of the witnesses and reference people, including prosecutor Park, were absent, and Lee Hwa-young, former governor of peace in Gyeonggi Province, who was adopted as a witness, was present.
This morning (2nd), I prepared the 'field video' of the judiciary committee.
▶ It's scheduled to be re-opened at 14:30 p.m.
