On the 17th, the biggest full moon of the year will come to mind.

The Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute said that this year's largest round moon "Supermoon" will appear at 8:26 p.m. on the 17th.

The moon orbits the Earth in an elliptical orbit, because the distance between the moon and the Earth is closer than on the 17th when the other full moon rises.

The average distance between the Earth and the Moon is expected to be 384,400 kilometers, and by the 17th, it is expected to be 357,400 kilometers, down 20,000 kilometers.

This year's smallest full moon is the moon of the New Year's Eve on February 24, which is about 14% of the size difference compared to the full moon on the 17th.
