Actors Hwang Jung-min and Shin Min-ah will receive the Beautiful Artist Award.

The 14th Beautiful Artist Award, hosted by the Shin Young-kyun Foundation for Arts and Culture (Chairman Ahn Sung-ki), announced on the 15th that it has selected five winners, including actor Hwang Jung-min for the Film Artist Award, director Son Jin-chaek for the Theater Artist Award, Kim Dong-ho, the first executive chairman of the Busan International Film Festival for the Achievement Artist Award, actor Shin Min-ah for the Good People Artist Award, and director Kim Deok-young for the Independent Film Artist Award.

The Beautiful Artist Award was established in 2011 when the Shin Young-kyun Arts and Culture Foundation was established, and at the end of each year, artists who stand out in the fields of film, theater, merit, good deed, and independent film have been selected and awarded a total of 100 million won (20 million won each).

Hwang Jung-min, who was selected as the winner of this year's Film Artist Award, began his acting career with the film "The Son of a General" in 1990 and appeared in 47 films, including "The International Market," "Veteran," and "The Wailing." Last year's "Seoul Spring" and this year's "Veteran 2" were loved by many audiences. It won the most votes in a recommendation vote by the desks of the Ministry of Culture of newspapers, which judged the film category, and was selected as the winner of this year's Film Artist of the Year award.

The Good People Artist Award, which is given to an artist who left a heartwarming story through good deeds, went to actress Shin Min-ah. Shin Min-ah, who began her acting career in 2001 with the drama "Beautiful Days" and the movie "Hwasan High School," has been making warm donations to help underprivileged children, female patients, and the elderly living alone through hospitals and organizations for the past 20 years.

Director Son Jin-chaek, who has represented Korea in the theater artist category, Kim Dong-ho, the first executive chairman of the Busan International Film Festival, who contributed to the overseas expansion of Korean films, and director Kim Deok-young, who caused social repercussions with a documentary on President Rhee Syng-man's life earlier this year, were selected as winners in the independent film category.

This year's Beautiful Artist Awards ceremony will be held on the 24th.
