An incumbent police officer has been arrested for causing damage by drinking and kicking a car parked on the side of the road.
Nonhyeon Police Station in Incheon booked Inspector A in his 50s from Bupyeong Police Station without detention on charges of property damage.
Inspector A is accused of kicking and damaging a parked car in Mansu-dong, Incheon, while on his way home from drinking at night in mid-August.
The police identified Inspector A as a suspect through CCTV and others and issued a standby order.
The police plan to determine the level of disciplinary action against Inspector A after further investigation.
