Incheon International Airport's four-stage construction project, which has been underway for seven years since 2017.

The project, whose main content is the massive expansion of Terminal 2, is currently undergoing final construction.

At a glance, you can see a sculpture moving like a wave on the ceiling of the departure hall.

It symbolically captures the movements of endangered animals.

An outdoor garden is provided in the resting area of passengers so that they can enjoy their leisure time while breathing in the outside air.

For the first time in the world, we have also introduced a system that informs in real time where the plane is scheduled to arrive on a large electronic display.

In addition, various high-tech equipment also attract attention.

The smart pass service terminal, which passes through the gate of the departure hall only by face recognition without submitting a passport and boarding pass, has already been installed.

Using this service is expected to reduce boarding time by 40%.

Currently, the process rate is well over 99%, which is actually the level of completion of construction.

After the fourth phase of construction, the annual passenger capacity of 77 million people will increase to 106 million, making it the world's third-largest super airport.

Cargo capacity will increase from 5 million tons to 6.3 million tons, and the number of flights per hour will increase from 90 to 107 through the four runways.

Incheon International Airport Corporation plans to complete the construction by the end of this month and disclose the completed terminal within this year.
