[Seoul] Hongje-dong and Sadang-dong's 'Quick Integrated Planning and Redevelopment' Candidate Selection

held a redevelopment candidate selection committee to select two candidates, and said it actively reflected the residents' intention to push for it and selected areas with high approval rates.

The district selected as the candidate site will prepare for the service contract by the end of the year and start planning and maintenance plans from the first half of next year.

The Ant Village in Hongje-dong is Seoul's representative unauthorized building concentration village formed at the foot of Inwangsan Mountain in the 1970s, and it is promoted as a candidate site for redevelopment by integrating it with the cultural village and the old Hongje 4 maintenance area.

The area where old and defective buildings are concentrated in Sadang-dong, Dongjak-gu, had difficulty in selecting a redevelopment candidate site due to overlapping areas with local housing association housing construction projects, but the conflict was resolved through consultations between business entities.
