President Yoon Suk Yeol will visit Peru and Brazil for an eight-day visit from today (14th) to the 21st to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the G20 summit.President
Yoon will first attend APEC and the 'Dialogue with the Entrepreneurs Advisory Committee' to be held in Lima, Peru, and then proceed with his official visit to Peru from the morning of the 16th local time.
On the 17th, he will move to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where the G20 summit will be held, and then hold multilateral meetings on the 18th and 19th and return home on the 21st in Korean time.
The presidential office is discussing ways to hold a Korea-Japan, Korea-China-Japan summit during the multilateral meeting.
He is also reportedly pushing for a meeting with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on the occasion of his trip.
