The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs said that a report of suspected symptoms of Rumpiskin's disease came from a farm in Gunwi-gun, Daegu, where 59 Korean cattle are raised, and a thorough examination confirmed that they were positive.
To prevent the spread of Rumpiskin, quarantine authorities have sent an initial quarantine team and an epidemiological investigation team to the farm to conduct epidemiological investigations while controlling the access of outsiders, livestock and vehicles.
All cattle raised on the farm were buried and ordered to temporarily suspend movement for 36 hours to farms and slaughterhouses in six neighboring cities and counties, including militarywi-gun.
