It was last September that an anonymous post was posted about a deadly rampage at Yatap Station in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do.
Five days later, the task force and the autonomous defense force were put into the threatening post that predicted the crime.
Armoured vehicles were even deployed at the scene.
There was no actual stabbings, but civil unrest continued, and within two months, a threatening poster was arrested.
It was A, a man in his 20s who is a management employee of the site where the article was posted.
Mr. A is said to have managed the information bulletin board of the pornographic site within this site.
A admitted to the crime, saying he posted a threat to increase the number of visitors to the site, and the police applied for an arrest warrant.

Police also booked three people, the site's operator and another manager, on charges of assisting in the distribution of pornography.
They reportedly posted a statement on the site that they were cooperating well with the police investigation, but did not cooperate, saying that the author could not be known because it was actually an anonymous site.
In the end, the police identified the author through international cooperation investigations and raids on the site's domestic offices.
Police said they are also considering claiming the right to indemnify A for expenses, saying that A's threatening post wasted administrative power, with more than 500 police personnel deployed at the scene for three weeks.
In addition, he said he would actively investigate similar cases and arrest the author as concerns over copycat crimes increased as the notice of a deadly rampage was posted at Bucheon Station and other places after the Yatap Station incident.
