North Korea-Russia Economic Cooperation Committee Holds 11th Meeting... "Discussion on Multi-Faceted Cooperation"

The 11th meeting of North Korea and Russia's "Trade Economy and Science and Technology Cooperation Committee," or the Joint Economic Committee of North Korea and Russia, took place in Pyongyang yesterday, the Korean Central News Agency reported.

The news agency said the two sides comprehensively evaluated the implementation of the 10th session of the protocol last year and discussed in detail bilateral cooperation in various fields, including power, agriculture, science and technology, health and tourism.

Earlier, North Korean State Councilor Kim Jong-un welcomed the Russian government's delegation, including an interview with Minister Kozlov, the chairman of the Joint Economic Committee, at the headquarters of the Workers' Party, which is the first time that the North's supreme leader has met with the chairman of the Joint Economic Committee of North Korea and Russia.
