Kremlin refuses to confirm 'ICBM launch'"Contact the military"

2024.11.21 PM 06:45
The Russian Kremlin declined to confirm the Ukrainian military's announcement that Russian forces had launched intercontinental ballistic missiles and ICBMs attacking Ukraine.

"No," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing today (21st) when asked if he could confirm whether an ICBM was launched.

He then said he recommended contacting the military, adding that there was nothing he could say about the topic.

Earlier, the Ukrainian military claimed that Russia had fired ICBMs from the city of Astrahan, near the Caspian Sea.

At the same time, he said it was the first time Russia had fired an ICBM during the war.

If this claim is true, Russia is believed to have responded to Ukraine's two-day strike on the mainland on the 19th and 20th with long-range missiles supported by the United States and Britain.
