Amid a pro-impeachment rally near the presidential residence in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, a Catholic monastery priest near the residence has been seen guiding citizens who want to go to the bathroom into the monastery.

On the 4th, a photo was posted on X (X, former Twitter) with a message saying, "The bride will guide you to the monastery bathroom with a light stick."

The photo showed a priest dressed as a monk holding a cheering stick and guiding the citizens of the rally, saying, "Follow me."

Another X user also posted a black-and-white photo taken from a different angle, saying, "I saw it, too." The photo also showed citizens following the bride with a light stick in a row.

Netizens responded variously, such as "It's like Gandalf of the Lord of the Rings," "It's sacred," "The light emitting power of BTS light sticks is great," and "I thought you were leading him to heaven, not to the bathroom."

Meanwhile, the pro- and anti-government rally in front of the presidential residence in Hannam-dong continued for four days until the 6th.

According to JTBC, the monastery opened toilets and main halls for citizens, and men's toilets throughout the monastery were also opened to women.
