The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education said it will implement a "high school student capacity enhancement support project" to strengthen the social advancement capabilities of high school seniors in the province from this year and support the cost of obtaining a driver's license.
This year, 124,000 students will be eligible, and 300,000 won will be provided per student for a driver's license.
In particular, the Office of Education plans to increase autonomy and effectiveness so that students can choose the programs they need on their own during the business operation process.
Superintendent Lim Tae-hee said, "We hope this capacity-building support project will help students design their own future and realize their dreams."
