Former U.S. Republican presidential candidate Trump has promised to raise border patrolmen's salaries by 10% and hire 10,000 new people.
Former President Trump made the pledge on the 13th local time at a rally in Prescott Valley, Arizona, about 260 miles from the Mexican border, devoting most of his speech to a "border crackdown."
Former President Trump has condemned illegal immigrants as invaders and criminals and has vowed to launch the largest deportation operation in U.S. history if he becomes president.
He also strongly criticized Vice President Harris' immigration policy, saying that if Harris is elected, the entire United States will turn into an immigrant camp.
Former President Trump, who has promised such support along with the border patrolmen's union that supports him, earlier this year scuttled a bipartisan bill that included a budget for increased border agents.
