[Company] KHNP "Implementation of digital twin of APR1400 control system"

After more than four years of research, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power has succeeded in developing the latest Korean reactor APR1400's domestic control system with digital twins.

Digital twin is a convergence technology that solves problems by creating twins of real objects in virtual space and synchronizing real data.

Using this, simulation of the entire process from power plant construction to operation is possible.

In particular, KHNP explained that this digital twin is characterized by the implementation of the safety and non-electric system controller of nuclear power plants in the same way as actual facilities.
